Vine is a mobile application much like that of Instagram with one big difference: Vine allows users to create and upload video clips with a strict time limit of 6 seconds. Vine videos can be embedded and shared on social media platforms like Twitter & Facebook.
Begin a Conversation: Your Twitter or Facebook followers can be easily enticed using these 6 second videos. Each video can be paused and restarted, which is perfect for starting a dialogue. Do not be afraid to engage fans with more than a “hello” or “how are you” – be creative! If you are a running shoe company, don’t simply ask your followers where they will be running or how long they will be jogging for, but instead show them some places they could visit or the gear they could be wear in a Vine video. Entice your followers to take a clue from your video and follow your example.
Highlight Your Testimonials: While written reviews have proven to be very valuable to business, videos are a great example of innovative business strategy and can make all the difference when marketing your product, brand or business on various social media platforms. Consider allowing loyal fans and clients to create a 6 second video or series of videos professing their satisfaction and praising your service.
Display Your Work: This is an opportunity to be unique within your market. Every flooring company will have an online portfolio with photos of kitchens and flooring plans on their websites, but a 6 second video of work examples and ideas is perfect for bringing a more innovative portfolio to the fingertips of current and potential clientele. You could even consider using these 6 seconds as an opportunity for creative commercial like packages on a very modest budget.
Create Hype for New Product or Premiere: Vine videos are a great way to give fans a super sneak peak at upcoming releases or product unveilings. Visual confirmation of that product’s existence will get followers excited and will then build anticipation for the official release. This hype is created in hopes of gaining market value and increasing profit margins.
