It’s time to meet Three Girls’ newest “girl” – our Publicity Assistant, Malia Ramos!
Malia joined the Three Girls team as Publicity Assistant in July. As she explains, “I’ve learned so much since I began working with this incredible team of publicity gurus! Can’t wait to see what else is in store.” She was named after one of the most influential people in her life, her Samoan “glam-ma,” and attributes most of her sass and fabulousness to her. She was born June 10, making her a Gemini, which fits her outward, talkative personality.
Malia grew up in Lakewood, WA with a very large family. She spent most of her summers at American Lake and now lives just a few miles away in University Place. Her husband of 11 years, Erik, owns and operates a music studio in downtown Tacoma and their three goofy boys, Isaiah, Elijah and Mikah, all have an incredibly swift sense of humor, despite distinctive personalities.
When it comes to food, Malia’s favorite is shrimp. “My favorite restaurant in the world is the Crab Pot in Seattle. The shrimp is to die for!” And speaking of Seattle, did you know she’s a huge Seahawks fan? “I love the Seahawks!!! Legion of Boom! Richard Sherman aka the Shermantor is so amazing!” She also loves boxing and is a huge fan of Floyd Mayweather Jr.
In terms of travel, the most interesting place she’s visited is San Francisco. “I’ve gone to farther places but nothing is quite like SF.” Two more places she’d love to visit someday are Paris and Bora Bora.
In her free time, Malia is usually hanging out with her family or reading a biography. But when she does have some alone time, her guilty pleasure is watching Real Housewives of (everything). “Nene Leakes is my hero.”
What else do you need to know about Malia? “I am a large advocate for higher education. I was blessed to have had a mentor guide me back to college, and I feel that it is my duty and responsibility to pay it forward by doing the same.”
