A target audience is a particular group of people that a brand is aiming to reach. For example, if you are a medicare insurance specialist and are running a discount for a particular service, instead of publishing a generic Facebook ad to everyone on the platform, narrow down your audience to include as much detail as possible! Facebook allows you to target users based on all sorts of criteria, including age, location, interests, online behavior, education and much, much more!

Targeting your ad to a specific audience can work wonders for just about any product or service! So the next time you’re running a deal, or have exciting information to share, think about who will benefit from your ad, and take the time to specifically target them!
