Contrary to what many assume, Three Girls is made up of more than just three women. In fact, we’ve been known to be home to men, too! To give you an opportunity to get to know the Three Girls team even better, we’re excited to feature each member of our staff on our blog. First up is Stefanie Burger!
One of Three Girls’ seasoned publicists, Stefanie Michelle Burger, born on April 20th, was named after two characters on the popular 80s/90s sitcom “Full House.” What else does she answer to? Stef, Steffy, Stefanie or, as the Italians like to call her, Stefanya! She’s been with our team since early 2012.
Who ranks high in Stefanie’s life? Her boyfriend, Preston, is a big favorite, but don’t tell him that the real love of her life is her Papillion Pomeranian named Pippa!
Originally from Auburn, WA, Stef’s family is from Southern California, which is why she’s always considered Los Angeles to be a second home. That’s probably also why she’s a UCLA Bruins fan (fueled by a deep multi-generational rivalry between UCLA and USC fans in her family) and her favorite NHL team is the LA Kings. Don’t worry, though, she still likes teams in the Pacific Northwest, too – she even has season tickets to the Seattle Thunderbirds!
What about food? Stefanie is a sushi fanatic! Her absolute favorite restaurants are Trappers Sushi in Kent, WA or Yamato in LA. She also loves traditional Italian food, which didn’t hurt during her recent trip to Italy.
Speaking of travels, her two most interesting places she’s visited are:
- Cagli, Italy – A medieval town she lived in while she was there. She got to walk on bridges and in towers that were built in year 1 AD. It was unreal!
- The Valley of the Fallen outside of Madrid, Spain – An entire shrine and burial ground inside a massive boulder on the side of a mountain.
Where does she want to go next? She’d plan another trip throughout Europe. She wants to see more of Italy, visit family in Sicily, see her uncle in Holland, kiss the Blarney Stone in Ireland and get a fishy pedicure in Greece!
Meanwhile, when she’s not traveling, she loves to sing, paint, design jewelry and do random DIY projects. She also has a passion for all things pageantry and has been competing, coaching and judging various pageants since she was in 3rd grade. Over the years she’s been Miss Teen Auburn & Miss Emerald Isle’s Outstanding Teen, won Miss Congeniality eight times and has accumulated more than $20,000 in scholarships from the Miss America program alone!
When she’s not working, Stefanie is most likely spending time with Preston, wrangling her nieces and nephews, working on her Master’s thesis or, if she’s lucky, taking any spare moments she can to binge a little on old sitcoms on Netflix. What else should you know? Well, according to Stefanie, “I have 5 tattoos, my favorite season is fall, I personally keep Starbuck’s in business, I am obsessed with Christmas and secretly wish I was a Disney Princess.”
