We recently kicked off a series that’s helping you get to know Three Girls’ team even better. Last time we introduced Stefanie Burger. This week, we’re excited to acquaint you with Publicist Mericia González!
Pronounced Meh-rei-ci-ah in Spanish and Muri-ci-ah in English, Mericia was given her mother’s middle name. Although she prefers the Spanish pronunciation, she understands that many people (especially those that don’t speak a foreign language) can’t say it that way.
Mericia’s been with Three Girls for a year and a month and is a Gemini (born June 18) with a cat named Brak. She was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, raised in San Francisco and currently lives on the peninsula in the Bay Area.
Mericia loves her cheese, although if asked to pick a favorite food, she’d probably give in to her sweet tooth and pick ice cream (or really any kind of dessert). If you asked her what her favorite ice cream flavors are she’d say cherry and chocolate chunk.
A Bay Area kid, Mericia’s favorite sports teams are the San Francisco 49ers, San Francisco Giants and the San Jose Sharks, although she’s not much of a sports fanatic. She does enjoy watching hockey the most though, and loves going to live games because of the atmosphere.
Mericia is well traveled, having had the opportunity to visit various parts of the U.S. in addition to Brazil, Canada, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Puerto Rico and Mexico. Although she has a hard time picking which was most interesting since they’re all unique in their own way, she would recommend everyone go see Puerto Rico’s bioluminescent bay, as it’s one of the most spectacular things she’s ever seen! Where does she want to go next? She really wants to visit Europe since she’s never been to that side of the world.
When she’s not at work, Mericia likes to spend time with friends and family (crafts with friends are always fun!). She has also enjoys dancing, participating in events such as 5Ks, is addicted to entertainment and loves several TV shows, including her current favorite – The Walking Dead. In fact, Mericia is practically obsessed with zombies! She even uses the Zombies, Run! app to help her exercise and is training for the 5k Zombie Run coming up in Las Vegas!
