Clarence McGhee Jr., an American gospel singer and songwriter, has dedicated his life to gospel music. From singing in his church choir at just five years old to captivating audiences across the Bay Area, his journey has been one of faith, perseverance and inspiration. At 24, he felt a divine calling to devote his talents to Christian music, leading him to write and perform Gospel songs that uplift and inspire. His first gospel composition, More Than A Conqueror, was released in 1994 and since then, he has written and composed over 850 original gospel songs. Clarence continues to share his heartfelt music on platforms like YouTube, including worship songs for weddings and Christmas. 

In November 2024, he released his latest album, adding to the Clarence McGhee Jr. discography, a testament to his unwavering faith and dedication to spreading the gospel through music. As a gospel songwriter and composer, Clarence hopes to expand his impact by introducing his soulful Christian music to film and television audiences.

Beyond his music career, Clarence dedicated over four decades to the U.S. Postal Service, working at the San Rafael, California post office in 1978 from the age of 18 until his retirement on September 2, 2022. Now, over two years into retirement, Clarence continues to focus on his gospel music ministry. He seeks to inspire people to trust in God’s plan and believe in their ability to achieve the purpose for which they were created.
